Public health England states that “Tooth decay is the most common oral disease affecting children in England” and “almost 9 out of 10 hospital tooth extractions among children aged 0 to 5 years are due to preventable tooth decay”. At little Giants Nursery we encourage good oral health within our curriculum, encouraging healthy eating, learning about the dentist, and how and why we brush our teeth.
