Fees Explained
We believe in clear, honest pricing and we apply all eligible government funding directly to your invoice.
• Funded hours: free
• Non-Funded or additional hours: £7.50 per hour
• Consumables & Activities Charge: £7.50 per week
• Bank Holidays and nursery closures: Free. We are closed on bank holidays a week during Christmas and New Year.
• Absences: Fees remain payable if your child is off sick or on a family holiday
Consumables & Activities Charge explained
For children claiming funded hours, there is an additional charge of £7.50 per week. This covers the premium resources, digital platforms, outdoor gear, and special experiences that enrich your child’s time with us:
• Outdoor & Weather Gear: Provision of nursery waterproofs, professional cleaning/re-waterproofing, summer hats, high-factor sun cream, and winter gloves.
• Daily Extras & Take-Homes: Healthy daily snacks, a nursery book bag, and a beautifully printed physical copy of your child’s Tapestry journal.
• Digital Learning & Tracking: Full subscriptions to the Tapestry online learning journal, Twinkl educational resources, and the specialized NELI Speech & Language programme.
• Events & Celebrations: Entry to our Summer Party, plus our Christmas Party (including a gift and a visit from Santa).
• Forest activities & Subscriptions: Full access to our Forest plans and activities, and the interactive Little Magic Train program.
• Outings & Real-World Experiences: Local trips into town and to the library, alongside hands-on farm and animal experiences.
Funded Hours explained
Our nursery caters for children aged 2 to 4 years old and fully support government funding schemes.
• Working Families Funding: Working families may claim up to 30 hours per week.
• 2-Year-Old Funding: Eligible children can receive up to 15 hours of funded childcare per week.
• 3 & 4-Year-Old Funding: All children qualify for 15 hours, and working families may claim up to 30 hours per week.
