- Clothing–We provide protective clothing when children are engaged in messy activities but children love to get messy through exciting play so older/non special clothes are advised. Wearing trousers / leggings that are easy and quick to remove will help your child become independent with dressing themselves and when nature calls.
- Change of clothes– Children will need a spare change of clothes daily in their bags. We have a limited amount at nursery. Extra sets of clothes for toilet training are advised.
- Footwear– Children need to wear shoes that are suitable for play indoors such as trainers or shoes. The children also need a pair of wellies for outside play and visiting the mud kitchen and woodlands area. We encourage parents not to send their child into pre-school in sandals due to limiting their play. To support your child with independence please choose footwear carefully – Velcro is good 😊
- Waterproofs so that your child can enjoy the outdoors in any weather
- Sunhat and sun cream depending on the season.
- Hat and gloves depending on the season.
- Nappies, wipes, nappy bags if needed.
